About Myself:	I was born in a cozy beach town in CA right during the first year of the revolution. My entire nuclear family was born in Iran and came in '76. Having grown up near the Bay Area I spent a good amount of time in the Zoroastrian and Baha'i communities. I fell in love with the open space and nature of OR after moving to Eugene for grad school. After getting my PhD. I was offered a postiion at the UO and I have been there since.
